The Aragon client is a full platform that can create and manage DAOs and contains the tools needed for a community to organise its decentralised life.
It is composed of a kernel, a series of apps, and a set of permissions that define the protocol of the organisation: what can be done and in what way. Apps accessed through the client can perform actions like raising funds, paying people, creating votes, and much more, with its decisions being made with transparency and group participation. The kernel of an organisation, and each of its apps, are represented by smart contracts deployed on the blockchain.
Most organisations are created from templates that can be chosen at the moment of creation of a DAO using Aragon Client. Each template tries to address a specific need by providing a set of apps and permissions that come bundled at the start of each newly created organisation, and you can also create your own. It brings fitting parameters for DAOs right at the moment of its creation.
